this is Hub speaking not me...I still get lost here in Lincolnshire :?
Was told by friend on here ..dont cross into Portugal further north as the border guards are bored and will pull you over ......
at Badajoz you can cross in comfort now(so Im told :) )......good luck..ellie

Sorry...been away.....I dont think you will get Lock up parking in any of the 'economy' car parks just the usual forcourt Hotel car parks..Formosa has forcourt parking and usually I can get a space but if you have lots in your car then better you go for something else.but Im not sure what..even Hotel underground parking can be a bit dodgy...however I can say in all the years Ive been doing this trip its been very safe..unlike Italy or Central France where Ive been 'Done' (France three times)......Portugal is a lovely and very safe place....I would just take out real valuables to your room.......have a good tripo.......

OH...and Hi Elle.....seems theres three of us...? whats this about a Bird View ??

Oh and furthermore I think the Glider man at Alvor is a very nice German person.....he did an article in 'Resident' some time back..with Photos and all...and takes people for rides ..in the nicest possible way of course..so I think we are three in this affair..... 8)
