Might I respectfully ask, what radio station do you find yourself listening to these days? You can credit Ray Davies but did know the Red Hot Chilli Peppers question - mmmm.

You just looked much younger in your photo

Dear Rod,
A person of culture does not parade his knowledge around like a prize
pig (Jeff Sader 2003)
One of the corner stones of culture is humility, could your foundation be
a bit shaky?
Rod, I really enjoy these spirited exchanges and I hope you do also.
Is'nt there some saying about too much heat in the kitchen, could
you research that one for me and let me know.

Your friendly adversary :)

Ms Cox's voice can be annoying most mornings, what is more worrying is that the target audience for R1 is 14 - 17 years old, what are we to do - it is either "all hit" local radio (with irritating adverts for double glazing firms) or heaven forbid Terry Wogan.

I think Jeff, Rod and Gambrinus for that matter would encourage us to listen to R4 and stretch our intellect in order that we may communicate more articulately and effectively with them.

My dear jeff

You know what they say about pigs ..... it takes one to know one

And humility... it is like underwear, necessary, but indecent if showing

As for the 'heat in the kitchen', I believe that paritcular expression came from the colonies, as is evident from its lack of subtlety

Keep up the good work, when I read your messages I am touched, and feel much better informed......but no wiser

Rod...I'm very sorry....I keep forgetting that the Irish have a
difficult time controlling two things...their temper and their drinking.

Hey Rod...do yourself a favor and don't reply to this post...all
you are doing is dragging yourself down to my level and that
is prettry low....

say rod, as much as hate getting involved in this, i can't help but wonder....when you refer to the "colonies", you ARE refering to the eastern seaboard arn't you?.... :? ...oh yes, and the "heat-kitchen" phrase came from harry truman... but you knew that. :)

I am glad you acknowledge your position, I consider the matter now closed..... ....until the next time

Dont try to stereotype the Irish - even we cant interpret ourselves, and dont believe all you read

look after yourself, you old dog

and cowboy of course its the eastern seaboard. Remember Davy Crockett
at the Alamo - from good N.Ireland stock

Aside from me not knowing what R4 is, the only thing I would encourage you to do if I felt your intelect were deteriorating (which I don´t think it is) is watch less TV - too much TV has been prooven to cause stupidle....stupididle....stupiddidy......NOT SMARTNESS :!:

Temper and maybe a little too much to drink ?
Sounds quite normal to me.
Give me a straight forward Irishman anytime --to one who "sneaks" around with his tent under his arm.
Perhaps its time you took that tent Mr Sader and camped elswhere.
Inother words--quit---youre the only one "losing" anything here.

shoes with that dress again...and Cowboy...did he really think that
Texas was part of the original 13 colonies??...now there is class and

Oh..by the way Daisy, I'm married to a girl of shanty Irish ancestry

Jeff my friend

It's confession time

I have tried to take that quantum drop that would bring me down to the slime in which you exist. But I have failed, and that unpleasant place remains for you alone to dwell in alone.

As for being a pompous ass, well if that entails having respect for the opposite sex, leading a life syle where conflict is not sought, but not ignored, and where peace and harmony is something to strive for then again I am guilty as charged.

I do not envy you, but I do pity you for I feel that it is not really your
of your making. It is probably more to do with your social upbringing and whatever gene mass you originally come from, where morals must have been nonexistant

And please Jeff do not try to impress with your empty boastings of your (alleged) sexual prowess - that really is so juvenile - its what you expect from smutty schoolboys sniggering in the back of classrooms

I expect your rantings to continue, and they will only reinforce the saying 'empty vessels make the most sound'

Jeff you are a perfectly balanced individual - you have a chip on both shoulders

yours in total indifference
