When I was out in March my back wasn't too good and I was recommended a place up at the Rocha Brava complex..can't recall name

..was a lady..(I never got there as it got better in the warmth)
would ordinary massage be okay for back prob.?.......ellie

hi ellie-why are you coming up as a guest? Doesnt your thingy sign you in automatically? Anyway, yes, an ordinary massage would ease any back pain-the warmth generated would ease muscle stiffness and relax the muscle to allow you to hold yourslef straighter, you know when you've pulled a muscle how you kind of hunch a bit you stop the muscle being strained any more. Also if you have an aromatherapy massage, the essential oils used can be chosen for their healing properties --such as marjoram or clary sage to ease muscular pain and stiffness.
Orange blossom for shock.
Mandarin for pregnancy, stretch marks, colic, loss of appetite.
Ginger for indigestion,colds, nausea, sore throat.
Fennel for cellulite.
Eucalyptus for asthma, catarrh, coughs, bronchitis, poor circulation, cystitis.
Black pepper for bad breath, anaemia.
Chamomile for sunburn, migraine, weepiness and PMT.

Yes, the Thai lady who is st rocha brava is wonderful. She can sort anything. Well qualified too. Her name is Pim. The clinic is next dooR to the rocha brava coffee shop just round from reception. bEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS AND SHE HAS A BIG FOLLOWING.

I would just say that I thought most massage places in Portugal were cheaper than in the UK. I have had a massage with this lady at Rocha Brava when I stayed there a while before I actually moved here and it was good, but it was very expensive.

Tee Heee! I much prefer terry nappies.....but no, a pamper party is when you get the girls round, open some wine and a couple of therapists arrive a spend the evening giving demos and taster sessions on things like indian head massage, aromatherapy, reflexology etc. It may also, if you wish, include brow and lash tinting, waxing, manicure, pedicure etc-----just anything to pamper and beautify yourself!!!

There's also stuff to buy like gorgeous body lotions and bath preps.
