Hello All,

We have booked 2 weeks in June at a Villa situated on the edge of Vale de Milho Golf, Carvoeiro.

I have heard that the area is lovely and that the Villa is a bit away from the centre of Carvoeiro.

Can anyone advise how far a walk it is to the centre and what there is round about the Villa area.

Hi Dan

Val de Milho is a lovely residential area. I don't know that particular villa, but they are all of high standard. Its about a 20 minute walk into town, and quite hilly, so a taxi might be better.

There is of course the 9 hole golf course at Val de Milho, and a nice beach within 5 minutes walk.

There are a few restaurants in the area (check out Julios here on the forum for mixed responses), and there are a few nice walks

Well Dan, we stayed there last year, unfortunatly the villa is old and has very basic and old furniture, the area is great, but every ones taste is diferante, hope you enjoy it.
The agent wasnt the most helpfull either.
