We admit to not being techies happy with freeserve here in the UK.

With our villa finished some time next summer ??? we are giving thought to what systems to install.

What do local cable companies like TV cabo offer ? could we receive any UK channels ?

With the end of terrestrial signals not too far away could we install Sky digital or their planned " freeserve " type channels.

What sort of dishes/receivers etc will we need ?

We are not a pair of old wrinklies stuck in the time sof black and white just people not that interested in !00,s of channels of ****.

would like the golf though.

I find your comments are quite insulting to''older'' people, my Father who is nearly 80 is very proficient on a computer, Technical aspects of modern day Gizmos etc etc as I am sure are thousands of in your words '' wrinklies'' If you are going to live on the Algarve I think you should change your views towards ''older'' people as they make up quite a sizeable amount of residents and still have a lot to give ! so dont be so quick to imagine they ''Know Nowt'' !!!
