Does anybody know if there is a call out system whereby volunteers can help the bomberios.I was a retained firefighter in the UK for five years,not as young as I used to be,but could probably still help if needed.

Your best bet is to call in to the station and talk to the commander, I know of one other English guy who has been working with Lagoa bombeiros. Send me a pm or e-mail if you want to have a chat with him and I'll try to help.
