Rain

Post by Dalcassian »

Hi
Has it rained yet in Cvo? We are coming out next month and wonder if we should bring our own? We have an over abundance here in Dublin at the moment.
The temp is not much better. What's yours?

 If you could take some with you, I think you could make a fortune selling it. My house would love some as the gardens and ground really do need it.

The farmers and growers are desperate for rain, how are your rain dance skills??

Raining here in Somerset with a very cold wind, temp approx 12c

Where is the spring!!!

Rain

Just saw the London Marathon on TV and they had a bright sunshinny day. 8) (Paula won in a record time.)
Our rain dances here are designed to stop it raining and they don't work very well either. :(

 Yep, watched the marathon and Paula Ratcliff did a gret job, well done to her and to all who took part either in the serious race or the 'fun one' altho' I wouldn't call running 26miles fun!! it raises lots of money for so many charities that I take my hat off to all who have the courage to compete.

My daughter who lives in London said it was lovely and sunny today if a bit cold. Still wet and dull here tho'

lovely day for it...but as I watch I always feel slightly inadequate seeing those legs really going some..my left knee gets a twinge :?
Had a message from mate 'Limey'..he said in the Portuguese newspaper that its the worst drought there in '300 years'!
surely there must be some rain due there soon? or we'll all have to start dancing.............

I'd get dancing, I've just seen a long range forecast for a thunderstorm in Faro - these have been forecast before, only to disappear nearer the time - would the population of the Algarve dancing all at once trigger an earthquake?
