Vila Nova Restaurant

I would add my approval to the comments on Vila Nova. I have been using it for 10 years and have celebrated 2 birthdays there with the active help of Isabel and Anibal Raposo. The food is excellent, not unduly expensive and you can always park there

Been there tonight.

Food and service excellent.

Clientele dubious - saw an English speaking German in there with some friends who totally ignored the other diners on his way out

Some 'vor'

Seriously though well worth a visit.

I have a tendency of doing that to avoid being associated with the wrong people

(seriously though, were you sitting in that crowd behind me - cos I could have sworn they were all german??)

Had a great meal, everybody was satisfied and the price was spot on.
