Hi Gambrinus - re. toilet seats up, peeing in (shoes) - the laundry hamper wasnt in bedroom
all those things never bothered me I just accepted that was normal behaviour. I did find that he expected perfection from me and constantly nagged, criticized etc.
I am still having to put up with toilet seats left up and mess made by my son but my son shows me he cares and treats me with respect - maybe that is the crucial word - respect.
I find the differences between the sexes amusing and the best conversation I had recently was with a neighbour who was in Auschwitz and lost most of his family - he said with a twinkle in his eye, 'men should treat women like Goddesses because they are! but most men are too bloody stupid to realise this and when they do they are too old to do anything about it'!!!

respect indeed...
...and the recognition, that men don´t actually stand a chance when the right woman comes along.
Unfortunatly, most men also have the urge to "move on to greener pastures (or jungles)". The more you box "Mr Perfect" in to make sure he remains your "Mr Perfect", the quicker he will start to feel boxed in and develop a natural urge to bugger off. Loss of moral values and ideology makes it easier every day to just turn around and walk away.
So when you meet "Mr. Perfect", how long does it take untill he becomes "Mr Content"? That is entirely up to you. Yup, the burden is all on you, ladies - that´s what you get for being so complicated.
