Bathroom mirrors

Post by Gary/Gaynor »

Hello

Does anyone know where I can buy near to CVO those circular bathroom mirrors that swivel and have normal magnification one side and are magnified on the other.

Looking for some nice ones.

Failing that does anyone know how you fit a mirror onto tiles without having to drill any holes into the tiles.

Thanks in advance

There is a cosmetics shop next to the drycleaner 5 a Sec in AlgarveShopping, I beleive they had some vanity mirrors on display - otherwise try Sephora in AS up by the main food court.

I bought a couple of those extendable bathroom mirrors in Maestre Maco in Lagoa - not cheap but good quality. About 35 euros apiece I seem to remember.

You can stick a mirror to tiles with silicon in a mastic gun. You need ot make sure the silicon is non acidic, os it doesn't harm the mirror. Just keep the mirror supported on something for a couple of hours so that gravity doesnt make it slide down the wall.

Hi Gaynor

I am pretty sure I saw the mirrors you mentioned in Solmat nr Lagos. If this is not to far for you I will find their telephone and you can give them a call to check

Yes Mestre Maco still do the extendable swivel magnifying mirrors and Home will sell you the correct mastic that you can use to stick mirrors on with. Sounds like you are gonna be busy! :)

Swivel Mirrors

Post by Ellie 2 »

If I am not too late on this topic, I bought a few of these Mirrors in Ikea last week for £2.90 each!!! I say buy them in the UK and take them with you. The other way is visit Ikea slightly north of Lisbon if you are touring in the area. You can find the address on the Ikea website.
