following on from the “10 best things” topic, what aspects of life in Portugal are worse than in the UK ?

O.K. Ellie 5 winges.
Spitting - no improvement but I do try to miss your sandal clad feet !!
The shrug - part of the timeless charm.
Squid - O.K. as calamares or well cooked and tender.
Earth tremors - add a little interest to life and help to mix your cock -- tail
Driving - as above but if worried remove your rear view mirror.
Cold floors - buy a pair of the local sheep-skin slippers.

In spite of the forecast - no rain- so perhaps over-chlorinated water could creep in at no. 6.

For me there's definitely not ten but off the top of my head there's a couple:

1. Year round wasps - half dead a lot of the time and I'm allergic to them.

2. Lack of indoor heating - being cold all the time indoors is awful when you're used to 24hr central heating, but hoping to do something about this for next winter.

Evening Jake....yes Im in chilly old Lincs at mo...not very exotic ! But cant wait to be out in my '2nd home'..CVO week after next

I do remember 'exotic elle'..of last year some time..some thought it was me at first(mucking around)..but no....
I ended up having quite a laugh with her..apparently she was nearly 6ft tall and a dancer(can't remember what dancing tho

)...and she spoke about her husband..think it was 'Jake'

..and I said"is he Jake with the extra leg"
or sumfing like that

anyway ..she was a laugh..but not seen her for an age now on here....
