What people here seem to forget is that there is already a Racing Track in Almansil and if Schummaker and his noisy friends want to come and spoil our lives here they should jolly well take their cars to Almansil on the already built track..and stay well away from this side......
And there are ALREADY golf courses splattered all over the algarve, I've named a few so you know where to go when the racing track gets going
Parque da Floresta
Castro Marim golfe & country club
Vale de Milho Golf
Vilamoura
Vale do Lobo
Pine Cliffs
Vale de Pinta

Essex Boy.....Sorry I meant Johny Herbert....who's career was launched on Drug Money..(He was unaware of it at the time)......very rough types you see....we definately don't want that sort of presence here..
....As for the new bridge Aroma....well .. I came from a farming background in China and was brought up with 'Night Soil' spread daily (Nightly actually) ...by my labourers .....I can't go back because they have just built a horrible racing track near my family home in Shanghai........but that type of smell ( Night Soil) is fine and different completely to Doggy Poo on the beach and awful petrol fumes and pollution those racing cars chuck out......I really despair at the thought of moving on again but what am I to do ......is this really progress ? surely we should be listening to the foreigners that live in the area .....Is it not us that bring prosperity by building nice big expensive Villas so the local builders have work...and is it not us that frequent the restaurants and Golf courses and keep the economy going......
Just say NO.......

Smelly bridge
That sure ain't the mud flats that smells on Portimao bridge! Thats the ETAR that doesn't work. In fact when the wind is right it invades all Portimão!

I think ETAR is the plant that is supposed to De- Smelly the Poo Poo...but I dont think it works........?? am I right Biffa.......
as for Formula One .....I read that Estoril is to finally wind down and sell off the land..and the new Algarve Circuit will be Portugals formost (One and only) circuit for motor racing.......however the fact is that Parkalgar albeit having rcvd most of the required licenses.......still dont have to go ahead as of today...and cannot start to build yet........I beleive it will happen...but not yet..

Hey good news. My builders phoned me to tell me that they have won the contract to build the race track.
Apparently they were by far and away the cheapest quote.
I just phone to ask how they came in so cheap. So they told me that its just the two of them, they are brothers. They both start work at the start/finish line, one brother heads East, the other brother heads west. They work on around the track and meet up at the far side.
So I asked them what happens if they don't meet up.
"No problem" the elder brother told me "They just get two tracks for the price of one"

ETAR
Yes that's right Guest an ETAR is a good old fashioned sewage farm. This one doesn't work and gives the occasional "cough" covering Portimão in that unmistakeable odour of stagnant s**t.
The tourist board has attracted the Golf World Cup here in November at a cost of about 30 million euros I am told but they still can't sort that smell out!
And I'm a golfer (well sort of!)
