FENCING

Please try Ray on 936955260. He did some fencing for me a while ago, very friendly and did an excellent job at a very reasonable price.

Hello Peter

What do you call a reasonable price? as we are also looking for approx. 175-200 metres of fencing plus posts

Prices seem to go from 4 Euro a metre up to 12...(Metal and wood...Green covered wire and uncovered...thus the differential....).....anyway I'm collecting proper quotes right now and i will post results within couple of weeks....

Hello Guest

yes that would be helpful if you could post the results you get in as we are looking for metal poles and green wire.

And me to...

+ the fine green mesh that you attach to the metal wire as a wind brake.

See it everywhere in VDT except in the shops

Hi Lesley

Feeling very aprehensive now. :?

Just need a plan of action....ie dig trenches for trees while we can still get a digger in the garden B4 they build the wall.

Then locate some top soil and have delivered...then fence...and wire. We have no mud at all just the sahara desert for a garden :D

So perhaps I should be asking if there is any Decent top soil suppliers near LAGOS.

Hi Piglet

How long has your build taken so far. Ours has only just started (end Jan) have seen some pics that they have sent over and we can see some of the brickwork and footings......... we are out at end of March so will be able to see for ourselves. Does'nt everything take a long long time. GOOD LUCK with yours.

Fencing

Post by Guest E »

Sorry Littlelegs, a bit late in replying. Ray charged us just under 1000 Euros for approx 110 metres worth of poles every 3 metres, with proper wiring/support, properly drilled into our concrete wall, and a green netting sheet for privacy. I can't be more specific than that as it's dark outside !! He did an excellent job and other quotes were around the 1200-1400 region. Ask him for a quote, you can't lose then as it doesn't cost !

Hi Little Legs

Sorry not responded sooner, just got back.

We bought our house last July...well said we would have it. Then by the time the Notary came back from a months holiday must have been Sept. So say they started Sept. they are due to finish end April...not sure if this will be the case ....but we will see.....hubby goes out there with his whip from April....cannot wait.

I am learning patience and any plans we make for a trip...keep them fluid as they have a habit of changing by the hour....sometimes even less than that
Good Luck...ps where is your place
