Indoor Swimming Pool?

Post by Pat and Peter »

We have had our own apartment for the past year in Carvoeiro but without a pool and as we are here a lot during the winter we would like to be able to use an indoor pool and possibly an outdoor pool in summer. We would of course pay for this and use the restaurant/bar too if there is one available. Can anyone make a constructive suggestion please? There are two of us but possibly four if we add grandchildren.

I have used the indoor pool at the Almansor previous years for a nominal charge.

During previous visits I stayed at Vila Nova, they have an outdoor pool which I believe they allow day visits for a small charge, they also have a small restaurant. As the other writer mentiond, I believe the Almansor allows day visits for a small fee and has both indoor and outdoor pools.

Hi Gary and Gaynor - the Almansor is a good hotel but we do not know when they allow the pool to be used, it looks like it may be OK. The Mirachoro is nearer for us to take children to and I understand that they are working on an indoor pool at the moment - perhaps someone on here will know about it?

Hello once again Pat and Peter

Funny enough we stayed in the Mirachoro in December as the apartment was devoid of furniture !!

I had an informal chat with the guy in reception about using the pool there and he indicated that we should be able to come to some sort of arrangement. So maybe this would also be an option.

I do not know if they are building an indoor pool though.

We will be back on March 9th so may pop up and find out some more..

Regards
