music in the square

I have been to Carvoeiro the last 4 summers and have noticed the music in the square has gone from every night to hardly ever more. Does anybody know why and is the music being brought back? Without it, I feel the square can be dead, if its cost, why dont the bars in the square get together and arrange something, surely they would get the money back in sales?
