Christmas weather

Post by Bubbly Blonde »

Hope everybody is enjoying the run up to Christmas. I am as I'm due to arrive in CVO on Tuesday for the first time. I'm in the middle of packing my cases and need some advice. Should I be packing my wellies and jumpers or will it be more like bikini's and shorts? I've never been to the Algarve at this time of year before so any advice would be appreciated. Also, does anyone have any idea if there will be somewhere open to eat on Christmas day? Thank you xx

Oh dear, that doesn't sound too good. What's happened to the mini heatwave someone mentioned last week?

At the moment it is dry and sunny,13C , so not really shorts weather but it will warm up later in the day to about 18c. Just remember it does cool down a lot at night so coats needed as well.
Our basic winter attire is teeshirts with jumpers on top and an umbrella, covers all situations.
Hope it stays dry over Christmas nothing like having Salmon and Prawn starters with a bottle of Bubbly on Chistmas day out on the terrace and then retire in front of the fire late afternoon for the full Xmas dinner.

Thank you, jumpers and shorts it is then. 8) Does anyone know if there's a nice restauraunt in CVO where you can really dress up for a meal at night (evening gown) and not look out of place?
