We are returning to CV again at the end of December (can't wait) and will be looking to buy some single duvets and covers (plain white or pale colours).
Where is the best place to start looking?
We have tried the UK but the beds are a larger size in Portugal.
Beware of these “traditional Portuguese linen shops” …..read the label
My brother recently bought a bedspread in such a place… “at a good price”…and later discovered it was a fake….a man-made material. These thing keep you hot in the summer and cold in the winter
I think its pretty obvious to read the labels!
But I would have thought most women ( and maybe some men )would know by the feel of a fabric if its natural or not.
At the end of the day I can only comment of the goods and service Ive had from these places. Both have been excellent.
Yes you are right Susie
My brother is a bit dim…ha! he also paid 200 euros to a gypsy for a “Rolex”………..a Rolex indeed…….personally I wouldn’t be seen dead with a real Rolex let alone a fake one…
They have a shop in Alvor and have a big range of bedding, bedpreads, etc. which are reasonably priced and good quality. An English lady owns it and is very helpful.
