Just returned from a flying visit to begin equipping our appt. With 2 daughters of 9 and 13 a TV was a top priority!

Went into LECLERC in Portimao and chose a decent looking 53cm CROWN TV (not LCD or anything flash). I knew the brand and it seemed OK @ 200 Euros. To my amazement, the sales assistant than said "You get this also..." and passed me a bundled DVD player & home cinema system. TV & DVD work fine - haven't yet checked out the amp & speakers, but seemed like a great baragain to me.

Also it means we can play music CDs on the DVD player, without the need to turn on the TV and play through its speakers.

Now that does sound like a great deal! Let us know if the amp etc is OK.
I shall be paying them a visit in January .........who knows I might get an even better deal in the sales ))))
