sea fishing

Post by kennycapes »

Hi there everyone.

We are coming to CVO in August and my son and i would like to go sea fishing.

We are quite new to fishing so no experts at all.

Do you know of any English speaking fishing trips for amateur fishing men.

I have googled a couple but looking for any recommendations from you helpful lot.

I went shark fishing when I stayed at Praia De Luz 15 years ago and was sea sick, I don't know whether it was the sea or the Portuguese fishermen preparing breakfast of rolls and sardines that caused it but I've never forgotten the experience, I was with my mate Yosser and I had some sardines and went on deck where the fishing had been very poor and I saw this youngster lying on the hatch, I enquired why he was in that situation and was informed that he had been seasick, I hastily turned away and continued to fish and then, don't like that, I felt a strange movement in my stomach, only a tweek but it moved for sure, minutes later I was violently sick, and then a strange thing happened, after me vomiting over the side the sharks started to bite and the clients landed a few smallish specimens, everyone was delighted and the Germans on board shook me by the hand and congratulated me on my contribution, I felt like death, that apart, an enjoyable and productive afternoon out, I'm still dodgy about sardines though.
