Is this restaurant still open? They used to serve the most amazing steaks and fish soup?
The staff were always very friendly.

Yes O Cantinho is definitely open. We had two excellent meals there last week with the added bonus of bumping into Antonio who ran Poco Partido and opened Tony's Snack Bar last year on the out road. His brother is the owner of O Cantinho and he was there helping him out in the busy summer time months. We ate early (7pm) because of our 2 year old and it was fairly empty but by 8pm it was completely full on both times we ate there.

Halfway up Restaurant Hill, on right - just past Casa Algarve and before you get to the Mirochoro Hotel.

Thanks for that I know where it is now , will be out in September - can't wait ! We want to try and go to some restaurants we haven't been to, we have a tendency to go to our old favourites and there are so many we like we could do with a month !
