Gas&Electricity safety cerificates.

Post by shaz1967 »

Hello there fellow members,
I was wondering how much it will cost to have a safety inspection carried out on my gas&electric appliances at my holiday home? I do not rent my home out but do have family stay there quite often & would like peace of mind regarding the safety aspect of all my appliances etc.

Hello Shaz1967
I am sure you will find some post's on the forum about owners who rent their property out&have to have gas&electricity safety inspections&im sure that they will know the best people&best prices for you. It is always good practice to have these inspections done at the recommended intervals&obviously have the safety certificates in place for any eventualities/insurance purposes.

For electricity you could use Paul Whitworth on ohmega@ohmega.net

I also have a contact for gas but can't lay my hand on it right now.

Gas inspection - contact Sergio Belchior on 916 894 268. He is an accredited gas inspector. Every 5 years for a dwelling.

Might be cheaper to do as I've done and go all electric, depends how you use the gas I suppose, all I needed to do was change the hob. :)
