Does anyone know if this restaurant is still a going concern? - we went to have dinner there last July and it was shut - probably just for the night (Wednesday I think) but I was surprised at that.

We dined there twice in September but he does close on Wednesdays.
My brother and his wife were there in December and he told them he closed from Jan 1st to mid Feb.

Maxims is still open we ate there at Christmas and John was looking forward ( not ) to painting the inside from top to toe and getting ready for the summer.

Went between xmas and New Year,John informed us that he is completely changing the decor and menu and was getting some professional advice on both aspects.

Was open Saturday 21 March and like many places, very quiet.

We went there last night new decorations very up market, new menu very good. It is a must try restaurant.
