What's going on
What's going on
Does anyone know what they are building close to ALDI? I cannot understand why the relatively new roundabout has been wrecked. They seem to have built something akin to a reservoir with an island on the middle. Lots of kerb to suggest pavements and roads.
Re: What's going on
From what we are hearing it may be Apolonia - yet another supermarket. But by the looks of it you may need to get there by dingy! The roundabout has been reduced in size to accommodate buses which were having trouble driving around the larger one.

Thanks.
Re: What's going on
we stayed in Gale a few years ago, quite close to Apolonia (denimar apartments). We found it really good compared to what we were used to up previously. Super fresh bread daily, but then again, we just walked across the road at lunchtime. Would be a great addition to Lagoa and Carvoeiro.snowbirds wrote:From what we are hearing it may be Apolonia - yet another supermarket. But by the looks of it you may need to get there by dingy! Re: What's going on
Well I hope it's not a Apollonia. Think waitrose meets marks and spencer then double the price. It will be too tempting!

Re: What's going on
Sorry tricky but it is! So reassuringly expensive that only those living in the Golden Triangle can really afford it.tricky wrote:Well I hope it's not a Apollonia. Think waitrose meets marks and spencer then double the price. It will be too tempting!
Re: What's going on
