Paypal con on shuttle bus cost
Just made a reservation on My transfer for a shuttle in Sept. Price is a standard €10 pp each way. When it comes to paying it says the card payment it is processed by Paypal - on the PAY NOW page it shows the exchange rate used is 1.20 € = £. Look carefully and you can opt for payment to your credit/debit card at their own rate - 1.24!!
Re: Paypal con on shuttle bus cost
Some ATMs are now offering to charge your card in euros or a set amount in £s. Their exchange rate always seems worse than charging the euros to my card so always opt for euros.
Re: Paypal con on shuttle bus cost
We have noticed this recently on ATM's and credit card payments in hotels. It can be a bit confusing when you're not expecting it. Choosing Euros is always the best option.
