House safes
Where do we get house safes from now - the man in Intermarche has closed down - I'm looking for a larger one - bigger than the typical hotel wall safe.

Thanks - Leroy sounds a good option - I always thought that guy at Intermarche was a real old sour puss - never cracked his face and don't ask for a discount!

Re: House safes
Maccasa - sorry to read of your misfortune.
Our first burglary was on a Sunday at 2.11pm (the alarm recorded the time). They forced the window and once they put a foot inside the alarm was immediately activated and they scarpered.
We had a monitored Charon Alarm System that also contacted the GNR - Charon were there in 2 minutes - the GNR in 7 minutes. Apart from a damaged window nothing was taken - on that occasion. We were on our way to Algarve Shopping at the time. Clearly we were being watched and ten minutes after we left - they struck.
The next time we were no so fortunate.
The moral of the story - be on your guard at all times - whether it's your 1st or 101st visit - the bastards are just waiting for you to drop your guard

Maccasa - I shredded all Charon paperwork before leaving Cvo and cannot remember the name of the guy we dealt with. I always found them efficient and courteous and if we ever come back - they would be our choice. I'm sure some will say otherwise but they did alright by us.
Their main number is 808 100 103
