Terracos da Vigia , who knows about?

Nearly five years have passed by since the last post has been made in this thread. This is why I want to give you an update:

"Terracos da vigia" is completed now. It got habilitation license in may this year. I had to wait nearly one year for purchasing my apartment there. But at my first visit at this building in June 2010 I imidiately fall in love with this building. The place is just wonderful, especially the view. So I decided to wait for undefinite time. Finally purchase could be completed in June this year. Now all (nearly all) of the things I had to achieve are completed. At the moment 3 (or 4) of 19 apartments/townhouses are sold. So there is still a good choice available.

If you have any questions regarding this property, you can ask me. Unfortunaly the advertisement that the builder does is very very poor. It starts with the bleached out information poster at the beginning of the road "Beco da Vigia" and ends with the missing online advertisement. If you need a good lawyer, I could recommend a very reliable and honest person.

What more shall I say - I´am looking for nice neighbours from all over the world there!

these apartments are in prime position, no doubt about that. we were given a tour of one by the very helpful Susete in May this year. Bit on the expensive side (location,location,location etc ) but they are nicely finished off. the sea views from the 1st floor rooms are amazing, as are the views from the rooftop terrace. kitchens are very modern.

sadly, Suzete no longer works there.

I know No. 1 has been sold as met the lovely couple there when I visited a while ago - out of curiosity to see what had become of the site since our unfortunate experience some 6 years ago (see earlier posts).

yes, nice Susete is not longer responsible for selling these units. I met her in June this year by coincidence and she told me her story. I don´t want to post it here.

In June a man called "Laslo" was responsible. If you want to contact him, you should go there at midday on a working day. He has a office at the ground floor in one of the townhouses at the left side of the building. The garden door is open then.

The responsible construction company is "Monte da Balaia Construcoes Lda". Responsible CEO there is Mr. Norte. He is deciding everything there, but he just speaks portugues. You have to ask Laslo.

I don´t know which telefone number is the right one at the moment for contacting Laslo. You should try these:

When I travelled to Portugal last time, I was worried about all the things regarding my purchase. I got the advise from a helpful portugues citizen: "Björn, you have to switch to portuguese mode, now. Calm down!"

I think it is normal in Portugal, that everything takes longer than in northern europe. Perhaps this is the reason, why holiday in Portugal is so nice?!

I´m one of the owners in this condominium, who bought very early in year 2011.

To answer your question:
"Banco Montepio" has repossessed the apartments, that have not been sold yet, form the building company ("Monte Da Balaia" from Caldas da Rainha near Lisbon).

The prices have been reduced and the apartments are for sale now through "Banco Montepio".

But I have heard rumors, that there is a "big investor", who wants to buy all of the free apartments in one deal. So I don´t know, if the bank is still interested in selling to single investors??!

I don´t have the actual telefone number of the agent from Banco Montepio. There is a sign with the phone number at the condominium. You have to look there.

These properties have now been released onto the market by the bank that repossessed them from the developer

They seem to be priced quite highly though! - does anyone have a view on the Developer and the quality of these apartments

Views are great but do you think they are competitively priced ( 300K euros) against other similar properties in Carvoeiro?
