Does anybody know where & how much approx it will be to buy approx 1/2 ton of white stone chippings or slate as i have a bare patch of earth to cover

try Piña as we got our chippongs there when we wanted a tonne. They have other products too.
Our last order however was for a lorry load which was heavy work, but a lot cheaper. Our landscaping company arranged that. That was definitely not Pina as I sure it would have been a builders yard. For .5 tonne however I still think a garden centre maybe the easiest. Piña will charge about €15-20 euros to deliver.

Thanks for your reply, you cant remember how much it was for the ton from pina can you ? i think it may be a trip round pricing up to various places.

sorry I cannot because we purchased loads of plants too. it was also April 2012. At least with Piña it's close by.
