Snakes came the end of my post. Anyway at least we know there was no airport tax. It took the snake lady to offer that free gem. No comment Widge!

What's the latest on this story? Has the levy been imposed by the airport authority yet?
I arrive Saturday - is my AlgarveDriver/YOR car going to be subject to an extra charge?

We arrived last night and nothing extra was charged. Think the new law is on hold

the car rental companies won a reprieve, for the moment anyway, in their court case, waiting for airport to make next move

I suspect that they will find some way to introduce this or similar. If they do I trust they will first provide some facilities/services to compensate. The charge will get past on to the car hirers and why should we pay to stand in the rain? and why are there no signs as to rows or areas in the car park? Last time I rented I was told to go to rows 2/3 near the kiosk - but the rows are not labelled - I notice they are in the other car parks. Seems they want money for nothing.
