Repairs to electric blind

Recently one of my electric blinds stopped working properly and I visited the Lamy blind shop in Lagoa near Jacobs shop to see if they did repairs. The lady behind the counter took my details and said that someone would be in touch. I subsequently received a phone call to arrange an appointment and then rather surprisingly in my experience of Portuguese customer service I received a further call just before the appointed time to say that the technician was delayed and would be about 45 minutes late. The technician spoke fluent English and having removed the top cover explained that one of the metal straps which connect the slats to the roller had broken. He installed a new one and adjusted everything before resealing the top cover with silicon. I was very pleased with the service and the price for the job which was under €45.
