Licy I doubt very much that you would frequent the same places as me,but I may be wrong.
What inspector Cleuseau does not know is that I have a little bolt hole on Loch Lomond for when I want peace and tranquility but it would appear I can't keep up with all you clever people, seems to be an awful lot of spiteful people on this forum,shame.......

Spiteful people on here ? ?
No one has complained about the change in direction of this topic from Which ? Supermarket.
Must be an OLD PEOPLE thing, start doing something and end up doing something completely different.

Re: Which Supermarket?
We use pink skimmed too. Guess it's like our red colour code. We have used pale green. I thought there was a blue one but we never buy pasteurised milk so maybe making that up. Thought Portugal would have same colour as us.cumbria sue wrote:We use skimmed Sue and it is now in pale pink cartonsbruce wrote:(Leite) Gordo Milk Whole. Usually in dark green coloured cartons.

Green is definitely whole milk, but blue (meio gordo) is in a darkish blue container and magro is in a pink one!

Re: Which Supermarket?
This is why I am totally confused - I remember seeing the pink ones and wondering what they were. I suppose it's best to remember the name (Meio Gordo) in future - providing it's printed on the carton in large letters as the old eyesight is not that good these days.Geoff wrote:You sure Bruce?(Leite) Gordo Milk Whole. Re: Which Supermarket?
We buy semi skimmed, the cat ( the real villa owner ) cannot stand the stuff in the pink cartons.
Re: Which Supermarket?
Geoff - I copied and pasted from a Portuguese site, we only use semi skimmed so not looked at the others.
