House up from Dirty Nellie's
Out for a walk today and came across the most fabulous house in the woods. Who lives there? It is accessed by the roads to the right and left of Dirty Nellie's. I don't think I've ever seen a nicer house and in Carvoeiro!!!
I know I am being very nosey but what the heck
Re: House up from Dirty Nellie's
It is probably the one which is owned by Villa Vita and which has been the subject of extensive renovation work over the last year or so.

You mean that gorgeous stone faced place on the left, going up the hill?
Re: House up from Dirty Nellie's
Yes, it is owned by Vila Vita. I believe they have just had an indoor pool added. I also believe they own much of the land in the valley and the house next door to us.
We are at the top of the valley overlooking that area and the sea. Much work has been going on clearing parts of the valley over the past year and it looks as though some building work is to start on the opposite side .
Lagoa water have been digging up our road to put in new pipes, prior to the road being converted from a dirt track! From what I hear they have cocked it up and had given no prior notice of the work, but we will be over there Friday to see what is happening.

I knew there would be someone very clever and knowledgeable who could answer my question. What/who is Vila Vita?

Have look at http://www.vilavitaparc.co.uk. Never been but it looks excellent and pretty expensive. I am sure ultimate ownership is in German hands.
