My god it's hot

For all those (like me) that check the forecast and think that when it says 24-25 degress on the website that might not be quite hot enough believe you me it is well hot out here at the moment. Went to canerios (by ferrgudo) yesterday and with no breeze and the cliff's it is like an oven.

Anyone about to come out, bring your factor 50, it is lovely.

We alwasy add 6/7 degrees to the forcast temps in summer.
We have heard from friends who have recorded high 30,s in the shade this year.

My daughter and 3 grand-daughters are at Rocha Brava at the moment. They wanted sunshine - sounds as though they have got it.

yep, my daughter Skype's yesterday and "walked" round the house and garden showing the state of it - at 11 am it was 30.

We came back from Carvoeiro last Monday having recorded a temperature of 46C. We took a photo of the thermometer to bring home to prove it. It was quite tiring just to move from one seat to another beside the pool - liquid refreshment was required.
