At least with Ryanair you get that trumpet sound on landing, if its on-time!

Damn trumpet scared the crap out of me the first time I heard it! For a few seconds I thought it was some emergency evacuation alarm.

Mr Licy has just confirmed hearing the trumpet, which has never made him poo himself. Apparently they speak in a funny Irish accent, to hear my hubby, another Ryanair flight on time that's 97%. Well something like that. Never been on RA myself.

Ryanair might be Irish but that guy is Scottish Licy. I use all 3 airlines out of Ireland, and have to say never had any problem with Ryanair, they do what it says on the tin. My daughter is just home tonight having spent 2 weeks in cvo. She flew Ryanair both directions, no problems, got the old trumpet blast on both flights.
anyone see Ryanair's latest gimmick this morning. went along the lines if you booked your infant on a flight today with Ryanheir you got the child free.

The trumpet for an an early arrival is a unique gimmick but maybe something also for a late arrival - how about Frédéric Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor.
