We are looking to update the bedrooms in our villa and would appreciate any help on recommending someone who could supply both curtains and bed covers in matching fabric.
Thanks in anticipation.

King of Fabric

I have used King of Fabric on several occasions: they are brilliant. They will even bring fabrics to your house to see if they fit with your decor. I also have bought material to bring bach to UK to make some curtains.
A Dutch lady, Yvonne and Dave (English ) run the business in Carvoeiro.

another fabric question

When we bought our villa last year the whole place had been done out by the previous owner via the shop Eclectica (I think that's how it's spelt) - on the corner of the crossroads in Lagoa. The matching curtains, bedspreads, lampshades etc are in gorgeous colours and very high quality BUT ..... VERY expensive !

The shop seems to cater for those that don't need to ask about price but they do stock many of the designer label fabrics. I wanted a couple of extra cushion covers to go on some chairs we had added to the villa and the matching covers that they made me cost 'a lot of money' (hubby doesn't know how much !). Wish I'd known about King fabrics earlier !

I agree with Penny about King of Fabrics, when we were updating our villa early this year we bought all the curtain and furnishing fabrics from them.
Two points to remember however, they only have in stock what is in the shop, so if there is not enough material on the roll for what you need you may have to choose another. also they don't accept credit cards.

Tricky, you are not quite right. I think they have other stock somewhere near Albufeira. I have ordered from a book they showed me.

Hi Penny
What I meant to say was that when I bought my material they only just had enough on the roll and said that they couldn't get any more of the rolls they had in stock, but that I could order a different material from the books but it would take a few days. I needed my material immediately
so was lucky they just had enough (had to have different material for the curtains though). Very helpful though and very good prices, I will definately use them again.
