Cost for retiling a pool

LICY, each pool is individual. You wont get a definitive answer on this one. We all have different stories based on our own circumstances.
I still feel you need to get a trustworthy and competent builder to quote you. I've suggested one, and I'm sure others here have also offered you recommendations.

I would suggest that if you rent, then time may start to run against you, before the letting season starts. The decent, and reliable tradesmen get booked up, even in times of recession.

We got/are getting our tiles from Azulejos del Vado in Lagoa. The quote is current as we ordered two weeks ago.

Just read this thread as it is something we may need to consider quite soon.
Would be interested to know how long it takes to do the job? We have a 10 x 5 pool with a deep end of 2m.

We had our cement render in part removed, pebble pool coating remoced, render replaced and the tilling done in less than 2 weeks. I think we had to wait 2 or 3 days to put the water in, which then took about 2 full days. Our pool however is smaller than yours as we have one depth of 1.45. smaller overall too say more like 4m x 7m although ours is a very irregular shape. Bruce's pool is probably same size as yours though. We chose more expensive tiles in the end so paid about 5400 all in. Hopefuly you won't need to serenader though. I think the tiles themselves were about 1700. still reeling as that would have paid for our fire place instead.

Licy we were told that the problem Pebble Pools had was due to a faulty batch of adhesive from Weber and that you were not the only one. ( this info did not come from Pebble ).
We are consdering options to reline and tile ours and pebble was one of the options.

Our one was not specifically pebble pool but the same product, however I think you are correct it was something to do with the adhesive as the piaster finish came away and was bowing off the cement render. In the end we had to bite the bullet as we got no where with the builder who sub contracted the firm to do the finish. You could say to rub salt into the wound we had purchased the produce some years before from the States but the previous builder kept onto it. We changed builder. Our pool finish was effectively paid for 3 times.
