No! way too hot to be working in the garden then. Better do the weeding and the painting 6 in the morning. Anyway we cannot wait. Only 1 and 1/2 sleeps go to.

For Portimao for Sun Jun 16th it now says low 11 to 24 deg C and high 21 to 40 deg C. I know the BBC has a remit as a public service broadcaster to provide something for everyone but doesn't this make weather forecasting farcical?

What is going on with the weather! We've arrived with a 91 year old relative in need if some sun and we are sat indoors with the heating on watching the tennis.

Yip, weather rather bizarre.........I've been gardening most of the day (shorts, no shirt) and now sitting outside catching last of the days sunshine with a glass of wine.........and this is the West of Scotland!!! Hope weather in CVO picks up as heading over in couple of weeks for a short break!

I was watching highlights of the IOM TT and there were campers and spectators sunbathing on the mountain section. Usually, any hardy souls up there are dressed for the Antartic.

commentators were saying today that at this time of the year the park would be full of families on picnics etc but that it was more like Uk on a January day. Montreal, Canada for the Canadian GP.

Around 22% here today on the cloudless east coast of Ireland, much warmer further west. As Dougal would say ' that's mad Ted'

Sitting in sunny Sesmarias at the moment and there is not a cloud to be seen. I hope it stays like that for another couple of days .Back to London on Tuesday, unfortunately,

250 m. down towards CVO in Boa Vista it has been cloudy all day apart from a brief interval this morning with temperature just crept up to 20c.

Perhaps I should consider moving to Sesmarias

However that was a post at breakfast time. It was also fab morning here but we then went for 1pm lunch at Canerois and it was cloudy and still is at 4.45pm. No way is it cold enough for sweaters, blankets and heating. Thin blood or no fat maybe.
