Does anyone know where you can arrange bike hire in CVO? I know there is a bike service shop at the end of the out road, but do not recall seeing they hire. Thanks

In view of the amount of time you spend in CVO, might it be better to buy a bike?

Not for us. Mind you last week I saw some cyclist heading up Solferias at a rate of knots. really impressive. Think my SIL would be like them too as he cycles up Box Hill. I did suggest to my SIL he could buy a bike but surprisingly he didn't. mind you the sort of bike he has is pretty special. The hire is for guests. Anyway I am still a youngish old bird. certainly much younger than your mate Bruce W.

Ceramic brakes off an F1 car would also be very usefull for the down hill bits. Fit a Currzz ? system that charges a battery and you will have something that will help you get back up again.
