artificial grass

Post by Sheila »

Does anyone have personal experience of artificial grass? Where to buy in the Algarve and how much. The threads about it on here are all very old .

If you go towards Lagos on the N125 there's a big garden centre on the left that does it. It's close to Odiáxere.

Hello, having researched the prices and quality of artificial grass all over the place for several months, I've now bought and had it fitted around my villa near Penina Golf Club. It's turned out better and cheaper than I thought and I'm looking forward to saving a huge amount in water bills this summer. I should have done it years ago as the lawns look fantastic all the time and the kids and pets love it too. If you want to have a look at it and to know all the details, then give me a call on 911050530 and I'll tell you all about it and where I bought it from etc. Cheers Smarty Marty

That sounds a good recommendation! I've got an area ~10 x 10m that is now just coarse sand (v fine pea gravel) - wonderful for football for the kids and boules, but It does get a lot of weeds. Can you pm me the details please as I shan't be out again until end June?
