Can anyone tell me how to get into street view?

All I seem to be able to get is the google earth images.

You will notice an orange man on top of the zoom bar. Drag the orange man onto the road you want to view and it will go into street view mode.

Despite the 2 large vodka and OJ's I cannot see any orange nen ir women.   I am using my iPad so not sure if it makes any difference. On Google earth I still get a satellite view of about 9/10 years ago. What am I doing wrong because I would love to see a newer view of our villa rather than the excavations.

On your iPad if you get on to Google maps first, then type in the location eg Carvoeiro. The map of the location will come up and then at the bottom of the screen on the right is a little man,if you click on him you will get the street view. I've had great fun with it. Enjoy!!

Sorry LICY, my instructions were for PC based Google Maps. Anyway, I have learnt how to do it on my iPhone now! :D
Are you sure it is a little man at the bottom of the screen Mardi and not a woman!!

Not too good at the moment, Sharen's mum is in intensive care and Sharen and her family are by her bedside.

My "little man" (if you will forgive the phrase) appears to be missing on Google Earth on my IPad. I can get streetview on my PC but not on my IPad.

Thanks. Maybe I should get off my butt and go to the PC and try. By the way totally off the subject , but why are the tents in the square, it seems early for Easter or is it for St Patricks Day?
