Walking distance?

Post by Guest »

I'm booking a holiday in Cvo for 2005 and have both small children and senior citizens to consider in my party. Accepting that it depends which end of the development I might be, is Quinta do Paraiso a reasonable walk from praia do Cvo and the square?

Thanks

It depends where on QDP you are staying - the edge of the development near Monte Carvoeiro is walking distance (although up a steep hill), but if you are further into the development you would be better off with a car.

A car is usually advisable as Carvoeiro has quite a few hills and it is spread out.

Mind you, if you are down in July/August you may well end up finding the only parking is about 50mts from your front door and you have to walk down anyway

lol........... as a matter of fact, i stayed at QDP last year and had a few enjoyable wlkas donwhill (also up later) to CVO center and beach. I reckon it takes you appr. 20mins to get there. (depending how fast you walk as I amsure you can make it in 5!)

We have stayed in the same area, and have shortened the walk by driving to Monte CVO and parking there. Much easier than trying to park in town, but you do have the walk down (and later up) the hill, to/from town.
