25/02/2013 15h00 Forum shut down for server maintenance

Post by Steen Jakobsen »

The forum will be unavailable today 25/02/2013 from 15h00 as it is to be moved over to a new server and IP address. It can take anything between 2 and 24 hours before the new IP address resolves in your browser.

Please excuse the inconvenience.

That was painless. I never noticed it at all.

Mind you, this might explain the loss of some smilies . . . :( sad face. Here's one I made earlier: Image :P

I can see all the stuff.

Try clearing your DNS cache. It helps when the server changes IP
For Windows users:

Windows 7:
Click the start menu, and where it says "search programs and files" Just type in the following and click enter:
ipconfig /flushdns

XP, 2000, Vista or older versions:
1. Open the Start menu.
2. Go to Run.
If you do not see the Run command in Vista, search for "run" in the Search bar.
3. In the Run text box, type: ipconfig /flushdns
4. Press Enter or Return, and your cache will be flushed.

MAC
1. Go to Applications.
2. Go to Utilities.
3. Open the Terminal application.
4. Type: dscacheutil -flushcache
5. Press Enter or Return, and your cache will be flushed.
