Why would someone want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane?

Yes....But not all year...They have many hundreds of jumpers arrive at Alvor airfield (Portimao) from UK and Germany mainly........from absolute beginners to world Champions.......you can just turn up and learn and then jump Tandem the next day and then solo within a few days.....Call by the airport and check when they do it........or you can travel to airfields around Lisbon and do it anytime....
Have fun........

Jumping out of planes was part of my last job but I never got the chance to do it because some other higher priority things came up mainly a war, but I have always wanted to do it I suppose doing really stupid and insane things like that is just ME all over!!!!!!!!!!

I have been in helecopters doing dangerous manouvers and being thrown about that was great fun. Allthough not as much fun as fast roping out of one. :D

Yes...I really am awfully perturbed by the attitude here, I'm rather new here but sat at the lights yesterday (Red) this nasty looking chap behind was bib bib bib...Ah I thought lights green...No..still red...he just waived his hands and shouted....he wanted me to ignore the red light and go because there was no other traffic around... as a newcomer here...is this normal ??......as I moved away on Amber ..he started bibbing again.......I then joined the main Portimao road and a silly chap driving from the other direction overtook with just nowhere escape route......I eventually had to pull right off the road to safe our sure death...Please tell me this is all not normal...Please.......

I have driven in a few places where the driving skills were DIFFERENT and I have coped so far even when a truck pulled out of a junction and went into the side of me, but if it's anything like driving in Greece then I am a bit nervous. :?

Besides, we both know there is no such thing as a "perfectly good airplane".
