Coffee Bar Rental
I'm toying with the idea of running a late coffee bar with my sister. We both have years of experience of this back in England-having run restaurants, bars and a football club. We've been in cvo for 4 yrs now and would like to do something to keep us off the streets!!! Does anyone know of something nice, not too big, not on the cvo 'Strip' to rent?? Any ideas. I know its not ideal , end of the season, but we're NOT looking to make loads of money, just to create somewhere nice and a bit upmarket maybe. ??
Please email me x x x April x x x x

Hi April
I didn't think the last reply you got was very constructive, especially bearing in mind that you just want to rent an existing coffee bar.
Anyway, if renting a coffee bar is anything like renting a bar (that sells alcohol) then you'll probably find that you have to buy a lease (trespass?) first, then pay your rent on top of that. The cheapest lease I have found on a bar is £55,000 and then monthly rent of anything from £300. I don't think its a simple as just renting as we'd do over here.
If anyone else can shed any light on this I'd be interested too (just for interest's sake, not because I want to rent a bar or coffee bar)
