Re: Board layout
I have been using the 'new' board since it came out a long time ago. It is much better than the older one and does a lot more.
Re: Board layout
I have to say that I disagree with you Michael. I opted to stay with the old board as I find this new fangled effort far too difficult to read and to follow what's going on.
Is there really no way to get the old layout back ?

Re: Board layout
On my Hisaronu-based forum I set the chosen board as a default for all my members. This way everyone is seeing all posts, images and formatting as I intend it.TomUK wrote:....Mind you - I am use the 'Prosilver' board - is that the later version then? Probably why I see no change.

Re: Board layout
I may be something of a Luddite..(who needs change anyway!?), but I cant work out the meaning of the symbols on the left of each column. In the older system, I could immediately tell which threads I had read. Now I can only go on the dates and times posted.
On this one there is a crawling text, a highlighted text, a knocked back text.....but what is the relevance?
Would some patient soul care to enlighten me?

As a fellow Luddite , I'm with you Bruce. It's nowhere near as clear as the old version.

Re: Board layout
Taking a guess here, but the scrolling one means you have not contributed, the scrolling one with a star means you have contributed and the RED one means you haven’t yet read it. I am prepared to be corrected.
