Rocha Brava
Rocha Brava
I just want to give a little mention to the Take Away section of the little restaurant just inside Rocha Brava reception.
Our sons don't like to go out every night so we've used RB for take away; the menu is quite varied and the food very nice; tonight we got a whole chicken piri piri for €9, some stir fried vegetables with prawns & rice for €10; - they do mixed grill, steaks, piranha, all very nice & a handy alternative for the chillier evenings.
Their restaurant was busy when we picked our food up, good to see
Tel. 282 358 844 to order take out.

Re: Rocha Brava
I agree the food from there is generally very good - There chicken (or prawn) stir fry is very good as is the gammon steak which gets served with proper pineapple not tinned! Also worth trying the ribs if they are your bag.

I am sure you mean't " Picanha " otherwise sounded a bit fishy and I would not want to be the one who gets them out of the fish tanksunman wrote:I just want to give a little mention to the Take Away section of the little restaurant just inside Rocha Brava reception.

I agree the food is good, but it can be very slow service

We live close to Rocha Brava, but for some reason, other than Clube Atlantico, have never got excited about any of the restaurants up there.
Re: Rocha Brava
Yeah but I'm told on good authority that it's hard to excite you at all these days ! Bella Vita is great & we must go there in the Spring !Bruce Wallis wrote:We live close to Rocha Brava, but for some reason, other than Clube Atlantico, have never got excited about any of the restaurants up there.

Like Sue, we've never been disappointed by the O Farol on Rocha Brava, but our absolute favourite in that area is the Jardim do Farol, which is just outside the main Rocha Brava entrance. It's a small, friendly, family-run restaurant and booking is always recommended.
