Banif bank account query

Hi All

Can you help - I have just checked my bank statement before transferring some money over and the account balance has been wiped to zero. There was a transaction at the end of May listed as CONSTITUIÇÃO POU which took the balance of money from the account. Can anyone help me with what that transaction means?!

Possibly by the finances.

The simplest way to get an answer is to phone the bank. Certainly the Finanças here do not mess about. If they think you owe them money they are likely to simply take it from your account.

The bank had moved the balance into a savings account to aid me avoid bank charges - Can you imagine that happening in UK?!

I think you may find they do that to achieve their internal branch savings account targets and keep haec office happy! It is a bit of a liberty if they never asked you innit?

Exactly! We have had this happen to us, though not to our entire balance.
