Accomodation Lisbon

Post by djprescott »

We are coming over to CVO in October and planning to visit Lisbon for a few of days. Can anyone recommend reasonable accommodation in the city for a couple of nights. Any advice on what and where to visit when we are there? Thanks Dave.

Thanks for that link. I think this question has been asked before, but is it safe to leave a car at the station at Tunes for a couple of days. Cheers.

Hi Dave! :)
I (or should I say me&friend) stayed in Hotel Zurique Lisboa(3 star)...2 nights in nice doubleroom and brek. for 100 euros.
Excellent 'help yourself brek'....and only 10 min-15 mins taxi ride to most tourist attractions.
Hotel :+351 21 781 40 00
wish you & Hazel great time!....Ellie :)

hi, I often leave my car at Tunes station (once for 10 days) and everything was fine, but I would never leave anything visible in the car (can't hurt being too safe).

have fun, and try and take the high speed train - its really cool 8)

Have a look here http://www.cp.pt/horarios/alfa_ic/p_858_404.html

I know its in Portuguese, but the first train leaving Tunes at 07h11 is the fastest and costs €40 return in First or "Comfort" Class - well worthwhile.
