The Front Row

Post by widge »

This company operates mini bus transfers from Faro airport. At least one of their drivers is a maniac who suffers from regular bouts of road rage and drives at excess speed tailgating all who stand in his way.If you value your life or that of a loved one avoid them because you might be unlucky and get him as your driver.

Widge,
I dont know what you are talking about. I have used this company extensively over a number of years and have always found them to be extremely professional. In fact I would go as far to say that I believe them to be the best and safest Transfer Company in the Algarve. Their drivers are very courteous and cautious on the roads. Let me ask you " have you ever used them?" or is this just a rant? I have personally seen a number of other companys vehicles driving at excessive speeds, and being totally reckless on the EN125, but can honestly say that this has never happened with Front Row, that is why I and all my friends and "loved ones" will always continue to use them and also recommend them to who ever requires transport to and from Faro Airport.

pppp, welcome to the forum. I'm sure you will realise that, when a newbie comes in to defend a commercial operation, we have to be slightly suspicious. Can you clarify that you and yours have no vested interest in this company and are just very satisfied customers?

Thank you for your advice, however, in their defence I am a client as are many others, who feels that it is extremely unfair to hear one side of an argument, or in this case, an accusation that is absolutely false. Surely, the purpose of a forum is to be able to give equal opportunity to all sides. Hence there is no need for clarification.

Excuse me pppp what part of my accusation is false?

You did not witness the incident, have not met the driver concerned and have never met me.I think an apology is in order !

If you check with the company you will find that I registered my complaint with them in person leaving my name and contact details so that they could refer back to me once they had investigated. Sadly I've heard nothing from them in the intervening 8 days.

widge. For your information I have contacted the company, as I have known them for quite some time, and I do know the driver in question. The Managing Director informed me that firstly this incident happened only 6 days ago and secondly she has in fact tried to register on this forum, in order to voice their opinion as well as the facts, and has been waiting since Tuesday to be approved (you wouldn't have anything to do with that would you?) As you have made this public, would it not be fair for them to be given the same rights, as well as the courtesy to reply, publicly? With regards an apology, surely you making a statement in order to taint a company's image without having both sides of the story heard is not warranted.

Widge has nothing to do with moderation, it is probably because the moderators have lives and haven't been able to approve the registration. "

So widge was right, there was an incident? Hopefully, the Managing Director will see these posts and advise his drivers accordingly.

laserblazer, as you are such an expert, maybe you can explain why Front Rows MD is yet to get approval for joining this forum when she applied last Tuesday and I was approved and I only applied last night? Surely they should be given the right to reply? Any incident has 2 sides, or is this a forum where anyone can start a witch hunt just because they got up on the wrong side of bed, or have PMS. The original comment from widge, has no substantiation and is an opinion, which could be damaging to a reputable company, that given the economic circumstances in Portugal, these people are very professional and work extremely hard to not only provide safe transport but also promote the Algarve. They operate a legal transfer company, unlike alot of others to be found on the road.
I think I have had my say and will hopefully leave it to the company themselves to respond, if they are allowed.
I find it totally unfair and childish how peoples ranting can have an effect other peoples livelyhoods. Now I have better things to do on a Saturday night than sit over my keyboard, unlike some others

No idea but in the meantime, why not get the MD to send you his response and paste it into a quote. Whilst I wouldn't consider myself an expert, I have a few more posts than you and I do know the Mods. When I joined the Quinta Do Paraiso Owners forum it took me several emails to get registered. These things aren't foolproof.

Me-thinks thou doeth protest pppp..........

You are getting far more irate than just a supportive customer would.

Reading between the lines, I also suspect that you either own, or work for Front Row.
