Help! PVC Doors Need repairing Urgently

I had new PVC patio doors installed about 5 years ago. 3 months ago a bottom hinge became damaged . It was repaired but has turned out to be a botched job. 2 Local companies have been round but both said that they could not repair the hinge and one (a mauufacturer) said that the only solution was to completetley replace the two doors at, I presume, will be a high cost (await a quote).

I need to make a decision on a solution within the next week whilst I am out here in Carvoeiro.

Can anyone recommend a reliable local PVC door manufacturer, agent, maintenence engineer or similar, please?

I know that this topic seems very trivial and mundane, but at the moment I am being advised by a seemingly respectable PVC Business (PVC Tech of Lagoa) that they cannot repair/replace the door hinge and that the only solution is a complete replacement of both patio doors at a cost that I expect to be 2,000 Euros +. The doors are 5 years old, and very good quality. I cannot get a reply from the architect/builder who installed the doors, and don't know who the manufacturer is (a lesson to be learned here) so am stuck.

This is hard to swallow and harder to accept so I ask again if anyone out can recommend a reliable local maintenance engineer, handyman etc.
