If any kind soul is coming out to CVO in the near future, I would be grateful if they could pop in to Boots (airside at airports so no problem with liquids) and bring me some pholcodine cough mixture which seems to be the only thing to cure my post-flu cough and which is not available in Portugal.

I may be in a minority but I feel that help like this, advice to others and personal news items is the prime purpose and value of the forum rather than some of the sarcastic sniping that goes on between one or two members

If you are sniping using blanks like dear old Pato, no harm - but the high velocity type which killed off poor Martin (come back Martin, most of us appreciate you !!) are what I was talking about.
I have had my first dose of pholcodine (thanks Andy) and reckon that in a couple of days you won't be able to live with me on the bowling green Pato

sorry Roy, I failed... we fly from Bristol and they have a Superdrug but they don't stock the cough mix you asked for..... so sorry......
